Finally....Family Pictures

How Sweet it is......

Finally, my days of being a TAXI are over! Yes, I will be a free mom! And I am excited! The Moe (Stacey) will finally have her drivers license and can drive wherever she wants to go! I am so excited for her. She has been working hard all summer and got a cute little car that she can get around in. Now she can taxi me around! It's kinda neat to see your kids take on so much responsibility! She is learning fast about money and how you need to work to get it. I still have Jacey to go through but he is not as demanding as the Moe! He is so mello and such a sweetheart, not to mention a TOTAL Mamas Boy! I have to do a shout out to my little sweetheart Tyrnee Bevell for getting her license and a cute little blazer to cruise in. I can't believe these kids are driving, it's just plain weird!!! Anyways "Congrats Girls" we are so proud of you!

wHAt dAy iS It???????

Help!! I'm really loosing it. It is amazing what lack of sleep combined with nothing but stress can do to a person. Every morning this week I've had to ask myself what day it was and I can honestly say that I'm not sure if I really knew. TOO MUCH WORK CAN KILL A PERSON!!!!! Brent Brown had to layoff 10% of his employees because of the economy. It was good for some and sad for others. Brent called a meeting and told us that we were the 90% he was going to keep and was not going to do this again. I really earned a ton of respect for him that day, I always thought that he didn't care about his employees but I was soooo wrong. As he talked to us he was choking back tears and talking about how hard it was to let people go. It was so hard to stand there and watch him cry. I am so GRATEFUL that I still have my job, Cuz I truley LOVE IT!!!!! Anyway, We inventoried our Ford and Toyota store over the weekend and it just wore me out. But that's ok cuz I work great under pressure (Ha Ha) and this week seemed to be the week every button was pushed and pushed hard!!! But all in all it is almost friday and I am looking forward to the weekend. We went to Las Vegas back in September and I have some pictures to post from our trip when my life slows down a little. We had a great time and really needed that getaway. Crazy how time flys!!!!

Vegas or Bust!!!!!

We finally got the chance to go back to Las Vegas to see another Nascar Race. So being the rednecks that we are, we loaded the truck and headed out (Just like the Beverly Hillbillies). Brians best friend JC (Yes our Jacey is named after him) lives down there so we always stay at his house. Through the years we have made alot of new friends there and Brian has always called them our Desert Family and believe me they really are. We had a great time playing football in the pool although some minor injuries occured, and also got some new recipes to try. We also had a really cool tailgate party before and after the race (My first one ever). The only bummer part of the trip was leaving, we always have such a hard time saying goodbye, but we know it won't be long until we get to see them again. MARCH 2009!!!! Anyway what a great trip it was and we really can't wait to go again. We love our Desert Family!!!!

I love to see other blogs that have such cute pictures of their families, So, I had about 25 rolls of film in a bag that I have had since before Jacey was born and after (Yep I really slacked in the "Get them developed" department) I have been taking 5 rolls in every 2 weeks to get them developed. (Good Mom Huh?) Anyway, It was so fun for Brian and I to sit down together and take a walk down memory lane and see our kids as babies and all the memories they brought back to us. I can't believe how much we laughed at some of the crazy things we had pictures of. Brian looked at me and said "don't you just miss those days" and of course I said yes! So, I was thinking that even though my kids are older it would still be fun to show them off when they were babies.

FINALLY! My First Blog

Wow, this took me 3 days to get done. I still have so much to do. What an adventure this was to put together. I had really happy moments when things were working out just right and other challenging moments when I could'nt figure things out and was so frustrated. But now I'm through it and it was fun. I can't wait to change things and learn more as I go along. I hope you enjoy my blog.
